Antenatal Classes in West London

Welcome to the antenatal class web site for the West London Antenatal Teachers. This site has been designed to put you in touch with NCT antenatal teachers running antenatal classes in West London. Our teachers are very experienced and have all been trained and accredited by The NCT (National Childbirth Trust). To maintain a License to Practise all NCT teachers are required to attend regular CPD days and their teaching is reviewed on a regular basis. For the teachers' individual profiles please click on the About Us page.

NCT antenatal classes get booked up very quickly, so once you have decided which course best meets your needs, we suggest you book your place as soon as possible, preferably by return of post, to avoid disappointment.

Our courses are informal and flexible and aim to provide parents with support, information, skills and resources to help them gain confidence and make the choices for childbirth and early parenthood that are right for them. They are designed for the pregnant woman and her birth partner, but some women attend on their own or with a friend.

Generally it is best to choose a course running within the area where you live to enable you to get to know other parents who live close to you for after your baby's birth.

Because we teach flexibly the exact agenda and priority of each course is generally determined by the clients. Teachers all have their own styles and, therefore, each course tends to be slightly different, although they all include the same basic information.

One of the questions we are often asked is how our classes differ from those offered by the NHS. Our classes tend to be smaller and run over a longer period of time; this provides us with the luxury of the time and space to fully explore topics and parents’ individual concerns and decisions.
